The Glassworks of Alessandro Tagliapietra makes some wonderful fish paperweights using gold and silver leaf.

These are spherical paperweights which come with a stand so that they can either sit traditionally or upright on the stand.

 This very attractive fish paperweight is made from green glass incorporating yellow gold leaf.

Although identical to the above Tagliapietra weights, this one carries a label of Bucella Cristalli Murano.  The two fishes are on gold leaf, set in green.  It is a flat square weight which comes with a glass stand.
